YAY! I found a bigger apartment!

I got the apartment I wanted! It's twice as big as the one I'm in now, only $15 more a month (and on the same block), and I can paint AND have pets. Joy!
Now I just need to get a cuddly roommate

Fun In Advertising...

When I was a kid it was cool to collect these stickers that were spoofs on everyday household items. Like "comet" cleanser became "Vomit"...you know- MAD magazine type stuff. When I got to college and started taking graphic design classes I even had to do a series of these spoofs as an assignment.
Well, I suppose other "artists" have enjoyed this for a long time, too. Recently I've been finding many stories about "guerilla art" in advertising. Here are a couple of good spoofs on ads. I'll keep updating this as I find more...

PUMA- These ads are fake- there was a rumor that they were in MAXIM Brasil. This is untrue. They are funny, though...

ABERCROMBIE & FITCH- A crazy fella created a bunch of naziesque A&F ads and plastered them up in San Francisco. A & F has had some legal problems related to their advertising and sales associate practices. Evidently, they are just too white. Personally, I can't freaking stand it when people wear a mega-mall designer label emblazoned across their chests. It's so funny that people pay to become walking billboards for a brand name. The only excpetion to the name-across-the-chest-thing for me is concert T's). Anyway, here are some of the pictures.

and my favorite...
